Ingredients
1tablespoonred seeds(aliv seeds)
½cupwater
2teaspoonghee
5 to 8whole cashewsoptional
1tablespoonraisinsoptional
2tablespoonslivered almondsoptional
1 ½ to 2cupsfull-fat milk
1green cardamomcrushed
sweetener of choicehoney, jaggery, stevia, date molasses, or sugar
½teaspoonrose wateroptional
Instructions
In a small bowl, soak 1 tablespoon red seeds in ½ cup water and leave it covered on the counter for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Heat ghee in a saucepot on a low flame and add the cashews or slivered almonds and fry until lightly golden. Then add the raisins and sauté until plump.
