Malabar Recipes from North Kerala
Though my roots are Malabari, I am yet to make the popular dishes that we are famous for. The essence of Malabari cuisine is so well known to the world currently that I remember Gordan Ramsay was in town. Located in the northern part of Kerala, the Malabar region offers an amazing spread of meat, seafood and vegetarian delicacies.
I hope to grow this list with perfected recipes so you can recreate and get a whiff of the Malabari kitchen aroma. Here you will find no-fermentation-required dosa - Ari dosha, or the ripe plantain delicacy - Kai Pola, etc.
